“So you hate this, hunh?” he whispers, as he kisses her palms and holds them to his heart.

“Yes.” she giggles, snuggling in closer. “I absolutely detest every single moment of this.”

“Don’t.”

“Don’t what, ma?”

“Just don’t. You’re a beautiful, independent, intelligent woman. You should know what I mean, by now.”

“Aww. You called me intelligent. I think I am going to lose my mind.”

“Don’t lose the thing I love about you!”

“Oh my God. Is this a parallel universe? Is this a time warp?”

“Shut up and kiss me, love-crazed woman. Before I lose my mind.”
