Fida (Fiction III)

“I still don’t understand why you are so fida over me. Don’t deny it though. I know you are.” he says.

“Well, I have been telling you that I love you zillions of times each day. I would be surprised if you didn’t get it.” she replies.

“You haven’t seen the real world yet. You have to grow up. You’ve only met pieces of shit. So you think am great. Go out into the real world. There will be thousands of people better than me.”

“Well, I have been in this world for twenty seven years and have seen enough. And like I said before, those people aren’t you, you know? Like that Eminem song  – “They just might be the next best thing but not quite you.”

And for once, he’s at a loss for words. He sighs…

And finally, he says “You know, whatever respect I had for you, its gone up a couple of notches.”
